WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING AN RA?

Being an RA gives you great leadership experience and provides opportunities to grow as a young professional. Additonal compensation includes a housing and meal plan waiver for the academic year.

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR THE RA SELECTION PROCESS?

The timeline for the RA selection process is listed under the 'timeline' tab on the home page. After completing the application, you will be contacted if you move further in the process.

WHAT DOES THE TIME COMMITMENT LOOK LIKE?

RA's are required to attend weekly staff meetings, serve on duty calls, create and host programs for residents, and maintain an active presence in the residence halls. Being an RA requires a strong committment and drive.

The Resident Advisor (RA) is a live-in student staff member of the Office of Housing & Residential Life.  The RA supports the department’s mission by assisting with the daily operations of the residence halls and developing and maintaining a positive community.  The RA serves as both a role model and a resource person by assisting students with their academic and personal growth and sense of belonging within the residence hall community.
